"Good Job John" - Barack Obama

Those were the first words spoken to John McCain by Barack Obama after last night's debate.  Even Barack Obama knew that he had witnessed a masterful performance by John McCain.  His command of the issues and the facts were very impressive indeed.  In fact, several times during the debate, Barack Obama could not help but agree completely with McCain on the important issues.

It is a fact that those who liked Barack's smile and personality surely landed on the side of Obama winning the debate.  If it were a beauty contest, that would really matter, and of course for the millions of superficial, mind-numbed Americans, that is all that matters.

But for the serious minded amongst us, it clear that last night was a blow-out and even Obama knows it.  "Good job John" indeed!

Wall Street Bail-Out Biggest Blunder of Bush Presidency

If you think the mis-management of the Iraq war, or skyrocketing government expenditures were the biggest downfall of the Bush presidency, think again!  President Bush appears to be a man out to destroy his own presidency and legacy.  Not only is George Bush hated by the left, but he offers conservatives no reasons to like or respect him.  He claims to be a conservative, but his nearly every action states otherwise.

Now, after we've run up a HUGE deficit, the President wants to spend $700 BILLION on the biggest bail-out in the history of the USA.  The nanny state has gone crazy and decided that we need to solve the problem of absolute stupidity on wall street and consumers who got themselves in way over their head.  God help us.  Not only is the mortgage industry in the USA now "state-run", we are now be forced to takeover the banking industry!

I say -  HELL NO !!!

What part of this makes any sense for the future health of our economy and our nation?  The only thing that will fix things for good is if a bunch of people loose a bunch of money in a hurry.  Then you'll see how quickly things get corrected and turn around.  Bail them out and stupidity will continue indefinitely.

O'Reilly Website HACKED for Comments About Palin Hacking

Apparently the losers that hacked into Sarah Palin's email, took offense to the story Bill O'Reilly ran on it.  Bill really went after the people that did it and the website that published screen shots of the email.  "WIRED Blog Network" now reports that a hacker has claimed to have breeched the database of the Bill O'Reilly website, picking up names, emails and passwords of O'Reilly subscribers.

The silliness continues!  Read the story here.

Separately, the haters over at MSNBC, this time lesbian formerly of failed Air America fame, Rachel Maddow, ran a full story on her new show blaming the week's wall street misfortune on McCain and running a nearly 10 minute diatribe making fun of him and Sarah Palin.  MSNBC now makes no attempt to hide their one party bias.  It is suprising that GE lets it go on like that, surely the ratings will continue to reflect the error of this strategy.

Charlie Rangel's Insult of Sarah Palin

In an attempt to be a witty Democrat, Charlie Rangel opened his mouth and stuck his foot squarely in it, referring to Sarah Palin as "disabled."  How stupid and insensitive can you be, especially with a woman who has a disabled child?

Just goes to show how much anger and hatred there is in the Democratic party.  I guess we would be little edgy too if we were facing multiple indictments for tax problems and now ethics probes for using a congressional parking spot as a storage location.  Or maybe not.

See the interview here.

September 11th Brings Choices

On this occasion, as we remember the terror attacks of 2001, think about the kind of leader we need should something like that happen again.  Once you do, it is very sobering and the choice becomes very clear...  John McCain.
